Najdrożsi!
Już piÄ™tnaÅ›cie lat minęło od momentu kiedy wzrok Mateusza po raz pierwszy padÅ‚ na anielskie lico Oli, siÄ™dzÄ…cej w pierwszym rzÄ™dzie (jak zawsze!) naszej licealnej sali. Na pierwszej randce byliÅ›my już tydzieÅ„ później, ale z zarÄ™czynami już siÄ™ nie spieszyliÅ›my! PóÅ‚torej dekady później mamy za sobÄ… niezliczone podróże po caÅ‚ym Å›wiecie, doÅ›wiadczenia mieszkania w różnych krajach, kilka magisterek i doktoratów, multum wspólnie spÄ™dzonych przygód - ale nadal codziennie poznajemy siÄ™ coraz lepiej. Mimo to, nadeszÅ‚a najwyższa pora żeby razem z Wami, naszÄ… najbliższÄ… rodzinÄ… oraz przyjacióÅ‚mi, uczcić nasz zwiÄ…zek! Na dÄ™bowe gody już raczej nie mamy szans, ale przy sprzyjajÄ…cych warunkach może uda nam siÄ™ jeszcze zaÅ‚apać na zÅ‚ote. Najwyższy czas wiÄ™c zabrać siÄ™ do pracy - i do zabawy!

It really has been long time coming. We are extremely excited to invite you to join us in celebrating our wedding in August 2019, a mere 15 years after Matteo set his longing hazel gaze on Ola's alluring visage.
​
The wedding will take place in a remote corner of the Polish region of Silesia. This place has a special meaning for us. This is where back in the olden days a tiny, carefree Ola roamed the fields and forests, playing with butterflies, and terrorising the local deer with her two German shepherds. This is also where we spent some of our first holidays as a couple. Luckily for you, it also happens to be an extremely beautiful and tranquil place!

We will be very happy to help you with your travel planning - feel free to drop us an e-mail or give us a call (see RSVP section for contact details). The nearest major airports, in WrocÅ‚aw and in Katowice, are located a little over 100km away, with good railway links and the possibility of renting out a car at reasonable prices. WrocÅ‚aw is a particularly attractive city, definitely worth a few days' visit. The medieval old towns of Kraków and Prague are also an easy, 2-3 hour drive away.
If there is enough interest, we will organise shuttle buses from WrocÅ‚aw and Katowice on the morning of the wedding day on 10 August 2019. For those who arrive a day before the wedding, we will be happy to host you with some BBQ and warm-up drinks at Ola's family house in JarnoÅ‚tówek. And don't forget the afterparty the day after the wedding! Likewise, for those who want to hang out with us for 2-3 more days afterwards, we have plenty of hiking routes planned for you in the area!

What should I wear? --> Whatever you feel fabulous in and comfortable enough to dance for the whole night! Feel free to dress more casual at the afterparty (day 2). The evenings might get a little chilly, so bring a cardigan for stargazing. Also take some hiking shoes if you want to explore the area!

Should I bring any gifts? --> Don't worry about gifts. You need that space in your bag for your wedding dress (and suit, or tracksuit, or whatever guys wear at Slavic weddings). However, an envelope with a small contribution to our honeymoon will definitely not be turned down!
